I created the #FCKbeingFat challenge to provide motivation and support for others who have struggled with their weight and are just tired of being FAT. In just a few short months my challenge has grown from a local challeng to having members all across the world, from PA to the UK. Challenge members have lost over 10,000 lbs collectively. #FCKbeingFAT has turned into something beyond my imagination.
#FCKbeingFat is NOT a PLAN, it is a weight loss CHALLENGE… if you follow the CHART (see below), change your eating habits (you will be provided with a shopping list) and DO THE WORK, you WILL lose weight. I, along with the other members of the challenge provide support, tips, tricks, and motivation. Ultimately YOU have to want it, YOU have to do the WORK. if you are ready, let’s WERK!!!
There are three different levels to the challenge, all of which will help you reach your weigh loss goals. The basic challenge is outlined below and is great for those looking to lose 10-20lbs….please go to fckbeingfat.bigcartel.com for other challenge levels.
There is a $35 non- refundable entrance fee, however the prizes, motivation and support surpass that cost. Just think…the last time you ate out or went to happy hour, the tab was well over $35!!! SO, HOW DOES IT WORK?
-The goal with FBF is to encourage healthy weight loss through a good diet, exercise and consistency. To keep track of this you will be provided with a 8 week accountabilty chart, where you are rewarded points for making healthy lifestyle changes, such as working out, eating foods that fuel your body on a path to a new you. You are also rewarded points for taking part in weekly Twitter chats, and using the FBF Food Journal($8) which focuses on the WHY behind what you are eating.
-Cut your sugar intake by eating foods with less than 10 g of sugar each serving.
-NO Liquor or Juice… coffee, tea, protein shakes and fresh homemade juice are permitted
-Daily exercise of at least 45 min, this can be broken down in to intervals, the goal is that you get moving and get it DONE! You create your OWN workouts, find something that you like….as long as you MOVE.
-Daily contact with teammate: The support from fellow members is my far one of the BEST components of the FBF Challenge. Members communicate through the GROUPME app, which is available on all phones! FBF is also present on ALL social media sites, so you can always be connected to a fellow FBF member. It helps knowing that you are all in this together and makes you accountable for what you do or don’t do. The challenge is INTERNATIONAL, so you will always be able to find a fellow member.
Weekly Accountablity Points: I know the importance of using data to track your progress. The accountability chart is a daily reminder of the small goals you must reach each day to meet your ultimate weight loss goal. Based on previous challenge results, those who follow the chart lose the most weight. See the example below of the weekly chart.

1 pt: Contact with Teammate
3 pts: Drink 1/2 your weight in oz Water
3 pts: Stop eating before two hours before you go to sleep
3 pts: 2 Cups of Fruit
5 pts: 3 Cups of Vegetable
5 pts: No food with more than 10 grams of sugar. (Alcohol is included here)
7 pts: FBF Food Journal/ 3 pts for any other food journal
5 pts: 45 min. exercise OR
7 pts: 60 min. exercise
(224 possible for the week) Not including points for weight loss and inches loss
You will be sent a link to the weigh in chart, where you will input your data(weight & total points) Weekly, by Sunday AT 11:59PM (Eastern Standard Time), Your intial weigh in will be a picture of you on the scale, with something to validate the time, you will also do a video weigh in at the beginning and every two weeks to ensure validity of your results.
HOW DO I WIN THE CHALLENGE?
There are two winners: 1st place is the person with the highest PERCENTAGE of weight loss 2nd place is the person with the most accountability points.
